- Meaningfulness relative to size in its jurisdiction
- Capacity and willingness to contribute to the Group

Gatherings
Due to COVID19 outbreak, the 2020 Annual Meeting that took place on May 26 was by virtual means. Certainly, a unique international experience of its kind.
The Annual Meeting 2021 will also take place virtually the 30th and 31st of March.
In October 2019, The Montreal Group hosted its first CEO Gathering in Amsterdam. This private event by-invitation-only took place on the outskirts of the Global Finance Forum.
The founding meeting was held in September 2012 in Montreal, Canada, in the head office of BDC. For the subsequent years: 2013 Mexico (NAFIN); 2014 Brazil (BNDES); 2015 France (Bpifrance); 2016 India (SIDBI); 2017 Finland (Finnvera); 2018 Canada (BDC); 2019 China (CDB), 2020 (virtual).
